Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, providing essential diagnostic imaging services. As a CT/MRI Technologist, you will operate advanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging equipment to capture detailed images for radiologist interpretation. This role may also involve assisting in other medical imaging areas as your skills develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule flexibility and punctuality while managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and team members, ensuring smooth coordination and prioritization of duties.
• Provide compassionate personal care and safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Handle confidential information with integrity and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Keep patients and their families informed about exam progress and respond promptly to their needs.
• Perform CT and MRI procedures following departmental policies and regulatory guidelines, accurately interpreting physician orders and maintaining thorough records.

Education

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required. Prior CT training is preferred.

Experience

Experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred, with at least one year as a registered CT technologist being advantageous. Multi-modality technologist experience is a plus.

Certification and Licenses

Must be a registered CT technologist (RT(CT)) with ARRT certification. Candidates willing to cross-train and obtain registry within 30 days of hire and pass within 90 days of eligibility will be considered. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Mental and Physical Requirements

This position requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs., and the ability to transport oneself throughout the department.

Working Conditions

Potential exposure to infectious diseases, unpleasant odors, anesthetics, disinfectants, chemicals, and controlled radiation. The role may require being on call and working various shifts and days to ensure effective service delivery.
