This position involves cashiering duties, serving food courteously in cafeteria, grill, and café settings, and maintaining a clean, organized environment to ensure quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during busy or unexpected situations to keep operations running smoothly and set a positive example.
• Anticipate customer needs by attentively observing the environment and guests.
• Deliver outstanding customer service with a "customer comes first" mindset, fostering genuine connections.
• Reconcile cashier reports each shift to ensure accurate cash balances.
• Keep food and supplies stocked, and ensure all food service equipment and areas are clean and sanitized.
• Support training efforts by encouraging and coaching team members respectfully.
• Adhere to operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and security protocols to protect employees and customers.
• Maintain an organized workspace for easy access to resources and products.
• Consistently provide quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food products.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines rigorously.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic literacy and ability to follow directions are necessary. Willingness to learn additional tasks and duties is essential.

Experience

No prior experience required, though barista experience is a plus.

Certification/License

Mental/Physical Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform simple math.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Working Conditions
