Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Medical Instrument Courier, where your role is vital in ensuring the timely and safe transport of medical instruments and supplies. This position involves collecting sealed, soiled medical instrument containers from various clinics and delivering them to Sterile Processing, as well as returning sterilized instruments to the appropriate clinical locations. You will also be responsible for transporting allergy serums under strict temperature controls and handling safety deposit bags for secure banking transport.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic literacy skills to read, write, and follow instructions are essential.

Experience

At least one year of experience in a service-related field is desired, with a preference for healthcare or public transportation experience. Strong customer service skills are a must.

Requirements

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and annual driver’s exam.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Mental acuity to follow written and verbal instructions and learn transportation policies.
• Annual physical and eye examinations.

This role may require extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting in a vehicle and occasional exposure to challenging conditions during transport. You will interact with outpatients and contribute to a supportive healthcare environment serving a broad regional community.
