As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate records for radiologist interpretation. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule flexibility and punctuality while managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff, prioritizing patient care and safety.
• Provide personal care and safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and comply with all regulatory and compliance standards.
• Participate actively in performance improvement initiatives to enhance departmental quality and patient outcomes.
• Keep patients and their families informed about exam progress and respond promptly to their needs.
• Perform radiologic procedures according to departmental policies and physician orders, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Education

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.

Experience

At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications and Licenses

• Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required. Candidates eligible for registry must attempt the exam within 30 days of hire and pass within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Mental and Physical Requirements

This role requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions due to patient needs. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 pounds, and the ability to transport oneself throughout the department.

Working Conditions
