Join a dynamic healthcare IT team as a full-time Epic Analyst specializing in pharmacy systems. This role focuses on the implementation and ongoing support of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) within a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills, maintaining professionalism while working on varied projects including a major Epic Implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows, system details, business requirements, and technical issues related to Epic applications.
• Configure Epic applications including workflows, reports, and user settings.
• Install and maintain system infrastructure supporting the EMR.
• Implement, enhance, and maintain EMR functionalities.
• Evaluate new features and recommend prioritization for system improvements.
• Troubleshoot user issues and provide daily and ad-hoc support.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, business, and operations teams to optimize workflows.
• Participate in rigorous testing of system enhancements to ensure quality solutions.
• Innovate solutions to improve services and reduce costs under deadlines.
• Develop unique solutions using judgment and initiative.

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy is required.

Experience and Skills

• Oncology experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic systems is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to set goals, create action plans, and meet deadlines.
• Skilled in gathering and analyzing information to develop efficient workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and change management skills to foster positive working relationships.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau is preferred.
• Background in IT or healthcare-related fields is advantageous.
• Experience supporting, training, building, or configuring EMR systems is preferred.

Certifications

Certifications or proficiencies in Ambulatory, Clin Doc, Orders, Willow, or Beacon Epic applications are preferred.

Physical and Work Environment

Ability to manage multiple tasks and produce technical documentation. May require occasional work outside regular hours to resolve issues. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, and moderate lifting (up to 10 lbs). Work is performed in a standard office environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases and frequent computer use.
