Education

Graduation from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program is required.

Experience

At least one year of respiratory therapy experience is preferred to ensure familiarity with patient care and clinical procedures.

Requirements

• Active credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care is highly preferred.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner is mandatory.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications must be maintained.

The role demands considerable mental focus and physical activity, including lifting up to 35 pounds, frequent walking, standing, and various movements such as turning, stooping, and reaching. You will work in an environment with occasional exposure to infectious and communicable diseases, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols.

As part of the team, you will provide quality respiratory care, administer pharmacological and therapeutic agents, and document patient care accurately. You will also engage in continuous education, support patient and family communication, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere.
