Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.

Experience

At least one year of acute care nursing experience is preferred to ensure readiness for the fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license valid in a Compact State or the state of employment.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to established patient safety protocols including infection prevention and safe patient handling.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care, including medication administration, nursing interventions, and patient/family education.
• Perform thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status and support quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with quality standards and core measures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare team members, patients, and families to enhance care and patient experience.
