General Summary

The Finance Information Systems Analyst is responsible for providing expert support and training for finance-related information systems. This includes developing and managing business processes and workflows within Workday finance modules to address current and emerging organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and administer business processes and workflows in Workday finance areas to optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct system integrity checks and verify business processes for accuracy and adherence to internal and external reporting standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of interconnected systems and workflows.
• Maintain and update operational guides and training materials for Workday finance applications, providing instructional support as needed.
• Offer additional support to other finance functional areas to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Education

A bachelor's degree in any field is required, with a preference for accounting or business-related disciplines.

Experience

At least one year of experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, or Accrual Accounting is necessary. Prior experience with Workday is highly preferred.

Mental and Physical Requirements

This position requires considerable mental focus on repetitive tasks for extended periods. The work is primarily sedentary and involves extensive computer use.
