As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, demonstrate punctuality, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Communicate clearly with patients and healthcare staff, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Provide safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills while handling confidential information in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and keep patients and their families informed about exam progress.
• Perform radiologic procedures according to departmental policies and physician orders, ensuring patient safety and accurate record-keeping.

Education

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.

Experience

At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

• Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry-eligible with commitment to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Mental and Physical Requirements

Close mental and visual attention for extended periods is necessary. The role involves working under stressful conditions and requires physical ability to transport oneself throughout the department, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs., and other physical activities.
