This full-time role involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on various plumbing systems, ensuring smooth and safe facility function.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct general plumbing repairs and installations as needed, maintaining detailed documentation.
• Prioritize and manage routine and ongoing maintenance projects to comply with regulatory standards.
• Monitor and report progress on maintenance tasks, including costs, safety, and compliance issues.
• Plan plumbing work by estimating supplies and labor costs.
• Communicate effectively with department users and management regarding repair needs and project updates.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work and storage areas.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or vocational training in plumbing is essential.

Experience

Minimum of two years of commercial plumbing experience is required.

Certifications

Medical Gas Certification and Backflow Certification are preferred but not mandatory.

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 75 lbs. Good eyesight and steady hands are necessary. Ability to perform under stress and wear an N-95 mask as required.
