This full-time evening position involves cashiering, serving food courteously to cafeteria and café customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during busy or unexpected situations to keep operations running smoothly and set a positive example.
• Anticipate customer needs by attentively observing the environment and guests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, customer-first approach.
• Reconcile cashier reports each shift to ensure accurate cash handling.
• Keep food, supplies, and equipment stocked and sanitized in food service areas.
• Assist in training by providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
• Adhere to operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and security protocols.
• Maintain an organized workspace for easy access to resources and products.
• Consistently provide quality beverages and food products while following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic literacy and ability to follow directions are necessary. Willingness to learn additional tasks and duties is essential.

Experience

No prior experience required, though barista experience is a plus.

Mental and Physical Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform simple math.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
