Join a dynamic healthcare education team in the Midwest region as an Advanced SIM Coordinator. This role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of simulation-based learning experiences within a clinical education setting. You will collaborate closely with nursing departments, faculty, and interdisciplinary teams to develop engaging scenarios that enhance critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise educators and participants in simulation grant projects, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
• Develop and refine simulation scenarios in partnership with content experts, modeling best instructional practices based on INACSL standards.
• Manage simulation equipment and coordinate simulation activities to meet learning outcomes.
• Collect and analyze evaluation data to assess the effectiveness of simulation experiences and contribute to reporting on grant outcomes.

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. A Master’s degree in nursing or education is highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience and at least one year teaching nursing skills and critical thinking with proven success. Experience in developing educational programs, conducting needs assessments, and proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential.

Certifications: Current RN license in a Compact State or the state of employment is required. ACLS Instructor certification and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are preferred.

Physical and Work Environment: This role requires considerable mental focus, physical activity including lifting up to 35 lbs., and frequent walking and standing. The work environment includes teaching settings with typical office noise and potential exposure to infectious diseases.
