As an Advanced LPN, you will support physicians and mid-level providers by performing patient assessments, administering treatments, conducting testing, and delivering patient education. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to clinic policies ensuring patient safety, including infection prevention and safe patient handling.
- Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes as prescribed.
- Assist providers during procedures, maintain sterile fields, and manage instrument trays.
- Support examinations within the scope of your license.
- Conduct phone triage and act as a liaison between patients and providers.
- Communicate test results to patients, answer questions, and assist with follow-up calls.
- Document patient complaints and visit details accurately.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs and measurements.
- Update and review patient medication lists.
- Perform point-of-care lab testing and collect specimens as ordered.
- Educate patients on electronic health record tools and provide supportive teaching.
- Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including obtaining necessary authorizations.
- Train new LPNs and medical assistants in clinic procedures.
- Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and reliability in attendance and performance.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program and completion of an approved IV therapy course.

Experience:
Previous nursing or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Certification/License:
Current LPN license valid in the respective state and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Mental/Physical Requirements:
Requires considerable mental focus, ability to lift up to 35 lbs., and perform activities involving standing, walking, turning, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, twisting, and reaching.

Working Conditions:
Frequent exposure to infectious diseases and occasional encounters with hostile individuals. Exposure to communicable diseases through blood and bodily fluids is common, with minimal physical discomfort expected.
