Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain central lines while preventing surgical site infections according to policy guidelines.
• Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and educate patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance quality, and support clinical decision-making.
• Document all patient care activities and quality measures accurately to comply with standards and facilitate team communication.
• Effectively communicate patient information to physicians and healthcare team members to improve outcomes.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.

Experience

At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license valid in the state or through compact licensure.
• Graduate nurses must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
