Join a dynamic healthcare IT team as a full-time Epic Analyst specializing in PharmD applications. This role focuses on the implementation and ongoing support of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems within a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills, maintaining professionalism while working on varied schedules during key project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows, system details, business requirements, and technical issues related to one or more Epic applications.
• Configure Epic applications including workflows, reports, and user settings.
• Install and maintain system infrastructure supporting the EMR.
• Execute activities to implement, enhance, and maintain the EMR system.
• Evaluate new functionalities and recommend prioritization for system changes.
• Troubleshoot user issues and provide daily and ad-hoc support.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, business, and operations teams to develop efficient workflows.
• Participate in testing system enhancements to ensure high-quality end-user solutions.
• Innovate solutions to improve services or reduce costs under deadlines and challenging workloads.
• Develop unique solutions using judgment and initiative.

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy is required.

Experience and Skills

• Oncology experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic systems is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to set goals, develop action plans, and meet deadlines.
• Skilled in gathering and analyzing information from multiple sources to create efficient workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and change management skills to foster positive working relationships.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and using data visualization/manipulation tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau is preferred.
• Background in healthcare IT or related fields is advantageous.
• Experience supporting, training, building, or configuring EMR systems is preferred.

Certifications

Certifications or proficiency in Ambulatory, Clin Doc, Orders, Willow, or Beacon Epic applications are preferred.

Mental and Physical Requirements

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and produce technical reports. May require occasional work outside regular hours to resolve technical issues. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, and moderate lifting (up to 10 lbs).

Working Conditions

Standard office environment with well-lit, climate-controlled spaces. Frequent computer use may cause visual or muscular discomfort. Occasional exposure to noise from office equipment and potential exposure to infectious diseases. May spend time in patient care areas supporting end users.
