As a Mammography Technologist, you will deliver compassionate patient care while operating mammographic equipment and ensuring accurate exam documentation for radiologist interpretation.

Education

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program is required.

Experience

Preferred: At least one year of experience as a mammography technologist.

Certification and Licensure

Must be either a currently registered radiologic technologist (ARRT(R)) undergoing mammography training per MQSA guidelines and committed to passing the mammography registry when eligible, or a registered mammography technologist (ARRT(M)).

Mental and Physical Requirements

Requires sustained close mental and visual attention. Ability to work under stress due to patient conditions and customer demands. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs, turning, pushing, pulling, and stooping.

Working Conditions

Potential exposure to infectious diseases, unpleasant odors, anesthetics, disinfectants, chemicals, and controlled radiation. May require on-call availability.
