Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a CT/MRI Technologist, providing essential diagnostic imaging services using computed tomography and MRI equipment. This role involves creating detailed exam records for radiologist interpretation and may include assisting in other medical imaging areas as trained.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule flexibility and punctuality while managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff, prioritizing and organizing work to meet deadlines.
• Provide personal care and safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Handle confidential information in compliance with corporate policies and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Keep patients and their families informed about exam status and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Perform CT and MRI procedures following departmental policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program is required. Prior CT training is preferred.

Experience

Experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred, with at least one year as a registered CT technologist being advantageous. Multi-modality technologist experience is also preferred.

Certification and Licenses

• Registered CT Technologist (RT[CT]) credential from ARRT is required. Candidates willing to cross-train and obtain registry within 30 days of hire and pass within 90 days of eligibility will be considered.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Mental and Physical Requirements

Requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods. Must be able to work under stressful conditions and transport self throughout the department. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs., and other movements such as pushing, pulling, and stooping.

Working Conditions

Potential exposure to infectious diseases, unpleasant odors, anesthetics, disinfectants, chemicals, and controlled radiation. May be subject to on-call duties and varied shifts to ensure effective service delivery.
