Description – Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of results, solve issues, and maintain lab instruments with routine calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Support specimen collection processes and adeptly prepare samples for thorough testing.
• Meticulously document each step of the procedures, guide new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining exceptional lab standards.
• Keep the laboratory environment safe and clean, abiding by all necessary regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Expectations

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board Certification within one year of employment in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS).
• Retain current certification throughout the duration of your employment.
