Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations using both standardized assessments and clinical observation.
• Design individualized, goal-driven treatment plans that address communication, language development, voice, fluency, cognitive-linguistic function, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver targeted, one-on-one speech therapy interventions rooted in current evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nurses, and family caregivers to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and their support networks on strategies to carry progress beyond the clinical setting and into everyday life.
• Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions when needed, supporting seamless continuity of care across care settings.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in alignment with applicable state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Missouri.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
