Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions addressing mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehab professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programming, and discharge planning with clarity and compassion
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively participate in care rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Missouri
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as neurological or geriatric rehabilitation are welcomed but not required
