Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including full physical assessments and in-depth review of clinical histories
• Support surgical diagnosis by interpreting diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, and relevant clinical data
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized surgical care plans
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care protocols, discharge instructions, and ongoing patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a surgical emphasis is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Valid Missouri state licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain it
