General Summary

As an Ambulatory Transport Driver, you will provide courteous and compassionate transportation services to outpatients, assisting them in and out of vehicles and healthcare facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with kindness and professionalism during transport.
• Help patients safely enter and exit transport vehicles and healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate with healthcare departments and external facilities to manage transportation schedules effectively.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance and cleaning of transport vehicles.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs and vehicle maintenance records.
• Ensure transport vehicles are clean, clutter-free, and smoke-free.
• Provide safe and timely passenger transportation.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic literacy and ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.

Experience

Certification and License

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
