General Summary

Under close supervision, you will assist with daily hygiene, skin care, mobility, and nutritional needs of patients. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, repositioning, ambulating, and assisting with meals while adhering to dietary restrictions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care tailored to individual needs.
• Collect specimens, perform vital signs, and document intake and output accurately.
• Assist with physical activities such as range of motion exercises and transfers.
• Perform technical nursing procedures within credentialed scope, including oxygen therapy, catheter insertion/removal, intravenous therapy discontinuation, nasopharyngeal suctioning, dressing changes, wound care, and skin management.
• Conduct patient assessments and collaborate closely with primary nurses.
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, manage NG tubes, and educate patients and families alongside nursing staff.
• Lead and support performance improvement initiatives, fostering teamwork and employee involvement.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in medical records, reflecting all care activities and patient status changes.

Education

Currently enrolled in a nursing program or completed nursing education without meeting licensing requirements.

Experience

Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
