Join a dedicated healthcare team in a regional medical office serving the heart of the Midwest. This role supports physicians and mid-level providers by delivering comprehensive patient assessments, treatments, testing, and education within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to clinic policies ensuring patient safety, including infection control and safe patient handling.
• Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes as prescribed.
• Assist providers during procedures, maintaining sterile fields and managing instruments.
• Support examinations within the scope of practice and perform phone triage.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and providers, communicating test results and addressing patient inquiries.
• Document patient complaints and visit details accurately according to provider preferences.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs and measurements.
• Manage and update medication lists and summaries.
• Perform point-of-care lab testing and collect specimens as ordered.
• Educate patients on electronic health record tools and provide supportive teaching.
• Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, securing necessary authorizations.
• Train new LPNs and medical assistants in clinic protocols.
• Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and professionalism while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Education

Graduation from an accredited LPN program and completion of an approved IV therapy course are required.

Experience

Previous nursing or healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications and Licenses

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in the state of practice and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Physical and Mental Requirements
