Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, supporting patient nutrition and food service operations. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of patient and cafeteria trays, utensils, and dishware, as well as assisting with food delivery and minor food preparation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry dishes, pots, and pans according to assigned duties.
• Deliver patient meals promptly to ensure satisfaction and proper nutrition.
• Assemble patient trays following the daily menu.
• Maintain accurate temperature and cleaning logs to uphold sanitation standards.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience

Up to 3 months of food service experience is desirable but not required; on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic math.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to read, write, and understand policies and procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds during shifts.

Working Conditions

May involve contact with patients and exposure to kitchen heat, noise, wet floors, hot steam, water, chemicals, glass breakage, and sharp utensils.
