As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists in patient care. This role may also involve cross-training in other medical imaging areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule flexibility and punctuality while managing multiple priorities efficiently under pressure.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare staff, ensuring exam status updates and responding promptly to patient needs.
• Provide safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Perform radiologic procedures in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory guidelines, accurately interpreting physician orders and maintaining thorough records.

Education

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.

Experience

At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

• Current registration as a Radiographer (ARRT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required. Candidates eligible for registry must attempt within 30 days of hire and pass within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Mental and Physical Requirements

This position requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs., and the ability to transport oneself throughout the department.
