Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients’ needs and formulate individualized treatment strategies to help achieve critical functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients’ motor skills, cognitive functioning, and everyday activities
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work seamlessly with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care
• Teach Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that foster continuous progress in the home setting
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt therapy approaches as necessary to keep patients engaged and on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouraged to pursue continuing education and advanced certifications

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
