General Summary

The Payment Processor is responsible for posting and reconciling insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), understanding contractual adjustments, and determining patient responsibility. You will collaborate closely with accounting personnel to balance postings daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually, while promptly resolving any posting errors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile all insurance EOBs with attention to detail.
• Balance postings with accounting staff at various intervals.
• Resolve posting errors efficiently and accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the payment processing team to ensure daily postings are completed before starting the next day.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience

At least one year of customer service and/or collections experience is necessary to succeed in this role.
