The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Medical Group Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for all clinic-based services within a regional medical group in the Midwest. This role partners closely with Division Chiefs to ensure alignment between clinical and operational functions, driving standardized, scalable, and high-performing operations across the medical group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in dyad with Division Chiefs to align strategy and performance goals.
• Directly supervise Executive Directors responsible for Access & Experience and Clinical Operations.
• Standardize front and back office functions across all divisions.
• Oversee service line activities and lead implementation of initiatives related to access, patient experience, quality, and operational throughput.
• Work cross-functionally with HR, IT, Compliance, and Finance to enhance processes and outcomes.
• Ensure achievement of performance targets in quality, access, patient satisfaction, and financial stewardship.
• Develop annual budgets and manage capital requests.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence in performance.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (MHA, MBA, or equivalent).

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, ideally within ambulatory or medical group settings. Strong interpersonal and strategic planning skills are essential.

Mental and Physical Requirements:

Requires considerable mental concentration and the ability to communicate detailed information effectively both orally and in writing. Work is primarily sedentary but may involve travel within the facility and occasional lifting of objects under 25 pounds.
