This position involves maintaining a safe and organized environment by adhering to infection prevention protocols, safe patient handling, and promptly notifying licensed nurses of any changes in patient conditions. You will assist with administrative tasks such as filing, printing, copying, charge entry, and supply ordering, while also helping manage patient room assignments and unit-specific logs. Under nurse supervision, you will perform limited patient care duties including vital signs monitoring, glucometer checks, and specimen collection, all within established policy guidelines to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety. Collaboration with nursing staff and ancillary departments is key to enhancing patient experiences and ensuring smooth unit operations.

Education:a High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:a One year of patient care experience preferred.

Requirements:a American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Basic Arrhythmia Class and Accucheck training required. CNA certification is preferred. This role demands constant mental focus, accuracy, and attention to detail, along with physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs, and other movements.
