Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Registered Dietitian responsible for delivering comprehensive nutritional care and education to hospital patients. This role involves evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized nutrition plans, including order writing and parenteral/enteral nutrition support. You will provide inpatient nutrition counseling, staff education, and intern precepting, while assisting with policy development and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition is required.

Experience

At least one year of clinical dietetics experience is preferred.

Certification/License

Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and hold a valid Licensed RD credential for the state.

Mental and Physical Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, use a computer, and communicate nutrition information effectively. The role requires long periods of standing and walking, as well as the ability to measure and calculate nutritional data.

Working Conditions

Work may involve exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, heat, noise, wet floors, hot steam, chemicals, and sharp objects in food production areas. The environment can be noisy and crowded, including patient rooms and nursing stations.
