Surgical Technologist

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure instruments and equipment are sterilized and organized.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to help procedures run smoothly.
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
• Properly handle specimens for lab analysis.
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure patient care.

Education & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist or Nursing program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• BLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and sterile technique.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
