Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Telemetry. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care by efficiently utilizing resources and supporting staff to maintain high-quality standards. The position offers flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, within a regional healthcare setting in the Southeastern United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily patient assignments and collaborate closely with physicians during rounds.
• Serve as a primary contact for physicians and administrative staff, providing support and guidance to nursing personnel, assistants, and unit secretaries.
• Assist with clinical procedures, order verification, and perform daily quality control and equipment checks.
• Evaluate patient acuity and support personnel performance assessments alongside the Primary Care Manager.
• Contribute to clinical education efforts in the absence of designated educators or preceptors.
• Engage with patients and families regularly to ensure comprehensive care and communication.
• Coordinate with care teams including discharge planners and nursing supervisors to optimize patient placement and care transitions.
• Implement innovative hospital processes aimed at improving patient satisfaction and staff performance.
• Maintain effective communication using provided mobile devices to enhance responsiveness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support unit operations.

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure in a Compact state or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience in a relevant setting.
