Join a dedicated healthcare team providing comprehensive respiratory care across a multi-hospital regional system in the Southeastern United States. This role involves delivering all respiratory therapy modalities according to departmental protocols, responding promptly to resuscitation and emergency respiratory situations, and maintaining accurate patient and departmental documentation. You may also serve as the charge therapist when required.

Education and Certification

Must hold current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association. A solid understanding of medical terminology and up-to-date respiratory care techniques is essential.

Experience and Skills

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations while interacting professionally with patients, colleagues, and visitors is critical. Knowledge of psychosocial, physiological, and spiritual needs across all age groups—from infants to adults—is necessary to provide tailored care and interventions.

Physical and Communication Requirements

Strong oral communication skills, manual dexterity for equipment operation and assembly, good visual acuity, and physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods are required. The role involves patient positioning and moving, as well as transporting heavy equipment to bedside locations.
