We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Pharmacist to join a dynamic cancer center team in a vibrant regional healthcare setting in the Southeastern United States. This full-time day position requires a professional who demonstrates strong clinical and operational expertise in patient assessment, treatment, and care across various age groups, following established models of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review physician medication orders for accuracy, dosage, interactions, and compatibility.
• Enter medication orders into computer systems and dispense medications accordingly.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist in training and orienting new staff members.

Education and Experience:

• Graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Licensed Pharmacist with current state board certification.

Skills and Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster cooperative peer relationships.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmacy laws at both state and national levels.
• Ability to read and interpret physician orders and medication labels accurately.
• Manual dexterity for computer use, prescription compounding, and IV admixtures.
• Effective communication with colleagues and patients to ensure optimal care.
