Summary

As an LPN, you will participate in patient assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans, and adjust care based on age-specific physiological needs. You will maintain accurate patient records, administer medications as prescribed, and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessments and care planning
• Provide direct nursing care following established plans
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Compact state or the specific state of practice
• No prior work experience required

Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of age-specific physiological and psychosocial patient needs
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to safely handle exposure to blood or infectious materials

Licenses and Certifications

• Current LPN licensure
