Summary: Provide compassionate nursing care to patients under the guidance of the office manager or physician in a busy urgent care setting. Assist clinic staff and patients with daily clinic operations, ensuring a smooth and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Deliver direct nursing care tailored to age-specific physiological needs as directed by a Registered Nurse or authorized personnel.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Promote a safe clinical environment and respond appropriately to life-threatening situations.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and monitor quality of care.
• Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare staff and support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.
• Contribute to cost containment efforts and ensure accurate billing for patient services.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction, patient flow, and operational efficiency.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a compact state or the relevant regional licensure.

Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of age-specific physiological and psychosocial patient needs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Capable of handling potential exposure to infectious materials safely.
