Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Main Operating Room, working full-time night shifts from Monday through Thursday. This role involves providing essential patient care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to the unit and equipment.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, offering direct assistance or notifying appropriate personnel.
• Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
• Ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Manage and maintain stocked and clean patient care areas.
• Participate in cost containment efforts and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
• Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience and Skills:

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Flexibility in work tasks and schedules.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights.
