The CT Assistant is skilled in performing a full range of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures essential for diagnosing various medical conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, adapting to the developmental needs of individuals across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Education and Formal Training

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited radiologic sciences program. Registration with the ARRT in Radiography is required or candidates must be registry eligible. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.

Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, new graduates who are ARRT registered or registry eligible are encouraged to apply. Those who are registry eligible must obtain ARRT registration within twelve months of hire.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The candidate should demonstrate excellent patient care abilities and a thorough understanding of growth and development stages to effectively treat patients of all ages. Experience interacting with diverse patient populations is important.
