We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, providing exceptional care to patients referred for physical therapy services across a prominent regional health network in the Southeastern United States. This role involves collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and uphold the highest standards of care.

Education

Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license as required by the regional Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Experience and Skills

Applicants should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills, enabling quick assessment and timely response to patient needs. Experience working effectively within a team-oriented environment is essential. Credentialing in Functional Independence Measure (FIM) must be obtained within the first 45 days of employment, with a minimum proficiency score of 80%. Candidates will have up to three attempts to pass the credentialing test.

Requirements

• Completion of Evacuation Training and training in Restraint, Seclusion, and Safety Devices is mandatory for all clinical staff serving inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms, as well as visually assess patient status.
• Physical capability to use proper body mechanics, transfer and transport patients of varying body weights, and perform frequent standing, bending, stooping, lifting, turning, twisting, sitting, and walking.
• Proficiency in the use and manipulation of therapeutic equipment.
