What You Will Do

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using standardized tools and skilled clinical observation.
• Design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans targeting communication, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing.
• Deliver direct one-on-one speech therapy interventions grounded in the latest evidence-based practices.
• Work hand-in-hand with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nurses, and care team members to deliver seamless, whole-person care.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to reinforce therapeutic progress beyond the clinic walls.
• Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed to ensure continuity across the continuum of care.
• Keep documentation accurate, timely, and compliant with all state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education, peer collaboration, and emerging clinical research.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or currently in progress for those not yet holding ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
