Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, muscular strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge preparation
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary care conferences and team rounds to ensure seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized credentials in areas such as neurology, geriatrics, or orthopedics are welcomed, though not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage patients presenting with complex medical and functional mobility challenges
