About the Role

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Execute a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound exams spanning abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts imaging protocols
• Guide patients through each procedure with a reassuring presence and a clear explanation of what to expect
• Partner with radiologists and referring providers to capture and deliver high-caliber diagnostic images that support accurate clinical decision-making
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, escalating technical concerns through the appropriate channels
• Keep thorough and timely records within the electronic health record system, ensuring documentation integrity at every step
• Actively pursue continuing education and stay current on emerging sonographic techniques and evolving best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related healthcare field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active ARDMS certification or a recognized equivalent credential in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• BLS certification preferred at time of hire
