Education

Experience

Applicants should have at least three years of experience in government reimbursement and cost report preparation, ideally within a multi-hospital system. Experience with Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for LTAC, Critical Access Hospitals with Rural Health Clinics, and Acute Care Hospitals is highly valued.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Familiarity with General Ledger systems such as Workday and Patient Accounting Systems like EPIC
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations
• Excellent communication abilities
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Certification such as CHONC from the American Academy of Professional Coders is required
