The Administrator I will oversee a residency training program within the Graduate Medical Education Department, ensuring compliance with accrediting body standards related to medical education. This role involves managing and directing interns, residents, fellows, and medical students in collaboration with the Associate Director of Medical Education. The Administrator I plays a vital role in recruiting residents and medical students to maintain the highest quality of training aligned with the institution's mission of exceptional patient care.

Key responsibilities include strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking, maintaining confidential records, and tracking program accomplishments. The role also involves administrative management of continuing medical education programs, including preparation, submission, tracking, negotiation, and syllabus development. Additional support is provided to program directors, faculty, and trainees as needed.

Education

An associate degree is required, though a high school diploma with 3+ years of graduate medical education experience may be considered.

Experience

Progressive responsibility in a health-related environment is essential. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel/Access, and PowerPoint, are required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of continuing medical education and event planning is preferred.
