Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through careful analysis of laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging
• Partner with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized surgical treatment plans tailored to each patient
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, patient positioning, and surgical instrument management throughout procedures
• Oversee high-quality pre- and post-operative patient care, spanning medication management, wound care protocols, discharge coordination, and thorough patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a meaningful surgical component strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid state licensure in North Carolina or demonstrated eligibility to obtain it
