Summary: This role involves maintaining anesthesia supplies and equipment daily, ensuring cleanliness and proper working condition. You will manage inventory and equipment placement based on anesthesiologist or CRNA requests. Assistance is provided before and during anesthetic administration, supporting the anesthesia team effectively.

Work Environment: This position requires working indoors, mostly standing and walking throughout the day. Physical tasks include reaching, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment. Manual dexterity and good motor coordination are essential. Visual acuity is necessary for detailed tasks. There may be occasional exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.

Experience & Requirements: No formal training is required, but familiarity with hospital operations and supplies is preferred. Experience as a Certified Surgical Scrub Technician (CSS) or nursing assistant is advantageous. This is an entry-level position with progression based on competency during the probationary period. The role suits individuals who prefer routine, organized activities involving cleaning, storing, and maintaining objects. Ability to work under close supervision and collaborate with multiple staff levels is important. Coverage for call shifts and first and second shifts is required.
