The CT Assistant is skilled in performing all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures essential for diagnosing various diseases and conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, adapting to the developmental needs of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Education and Formal Training

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited radiologic sciences program. Registration with ARRT in Radiography or eligibility for registry is required. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.

Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, new graduates who are ARRT registered or registry eligible are encouraged to apply. Those eligible must obtain ARRT registration within twelve months of hire.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The candidate should demonstrate excellent patient care abilities and a thorough understanding of growth and development across all age groups. Experience interacting effectively with patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, is important.
