Summary: Provide essential patient care in a medical telemetry inpatient and observation setting. Assist with patient admissions, orientation, and daily care routines while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support patient admissions including orientation to unit protocols and equipment.
• Respond to patient needs directly or by communicating with appropriate healthcare team members.
• Carry out delegated nursing care tasks to support the nursing plan of care.
• Ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain well-stocked and clean patient care areas.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
• Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Nursing Assistant certification mandatory.

Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Requirements: Excellent communication skills, ability to work flexible shifts, basic computer proficiency, and knowledge of age-specific patient care considerations. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and safely handle patients. Must be registered with the appropriate nursing assistant registry.
