Summary

As a Registered Nurse on the supplemental staffing team, you will plan and implement nursing care in alignment with established policies. You may be assigned charge nurse responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify care needs and organize appropriate interventions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate and relevant patient records.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor care quality using outcome-oriented indicators.
• Participate in cost containment and assist with accurate patient service charging.
• Adjust care based on age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.

Education and Experience

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or North Carolina.
• No prior work experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.
